Question: If I take a standard electric dryer overseas where they have only 220 (with no netral) will everything work. Or do I need to install a 220 to 110 transformer for the timer (these are easily available). Any tip would be appriciated.

I am afraid your question is beyond the scope of those of us who reply on this forum (it is certainly way beyond my scope). With something this important I would contact the manufacturer directly. You want this to be right!

Good luck.

I would buy a new unit when you get there.

Not only does the timer need 120 so does the motor.

Also they are 50 hertz not 60 so you may need a converter not just a transformer.
