Recently my dryer just decided one day it didn't want to work so the miss fix-it in me decided to take it apart because that's what I do plus the warranty expired 2 years ago. So I took the control panel apart and disconnected most of the wires (yes I unplug the machine first). Then I decided to check to see if the belt had snapped which in fact it did. Had to wait a week since the hurricane Irene but I finally got the belt and installed it. Put everything back together and hooked up all the wires according to the diagram. Well I plugged the machine in and pushed the start button. To my surprise it started but then quickly shutoff. I don't know what I did but it keeps doing that. The drum does turn so whatelse could be the problem. HELP!!!! Any advice greatly appreciated!!!!

Okay no worries I found out what was wrong. I had my dad help me and he connected a wire in the wrong spot. So now the dryer works beautifully!
