My washer is going through all cycles, pump seems to be working, but there is visible residue especially on glassware. Cleaned arms and drain filter, inlet valve filter and checked hoses at airgap/ under sink - switched to different brand of detergent, and tried with powder directly in machine with wash-program that starts washing circle directly (no pre rinse).
Washing seems to work, but maybe the rinsing is not? Any suggestion?

Hi,

Make sure you have soft water for the dishwasher.

I am thinking about getting a water filter for the house, but I do not think the current problem is related to the quality of the water. Forgot to mention: the dishwasher worked just fine for the last 4 years... and it's still the same setup.
could it be something else?
