My relay/starter went out. I ordered replacement for part #218721110. They sent a "manufacturer approved substitution" part #5304410951 which is fine except that the substitution part looks NOTHING like the original and there were no instructions included. The new part resembles a fuse. The original part is much bigger and has different components. I think I can figure out how to connect the new part to the compressor (but only to one prong), but there is no place to reconnect the capacitor, or to reconnect the wires that connected to the original part (which were cut to remove the bad starter/relay). There are also two flat connectors on the new part that don't seem to have anywhere to go.

I'm ready to just use the 3 in 1 (as it's been a LONG 3 weeks), but am reluctant because many posts I've read here discourage using those.

Please help!!!

Try using the RO41 2n1 combo unit (AP3540667), that will have wiring instructions... Cheers
