We have a Bosch diswasher model SHU43C06 and have problems with the detergent door. We realized the tab is broken where the spring attaches to it. We are just going to replace the whole assembly and not just the door. Is replacing the whole assembly a job that my husband and I can do or do I have to call a repairman? We replace most things ourselves but when I called Bosch parts line they recommend calling a service technician. Has anyone replace the assemble themselves? Is it that hard? Looks like we need to take the inner panel off but not sure what it looks like under there. It just doesn't look that difficult to us. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.:)

Hi,
We purchased the whole replacement part not just the door and it was pretty easy to install. Works like new now.
