If I have a full load and/or go to the heavy cycle my washer will not cycle to the spin/rince cycles, I have to manually turn the selector and then it will finish.

But, If I go with the light cycle and use small loads it cycles to the end without a problem.

Since it operates correctly in one cycle, this suggests there is not mechanical issue and that the problem is with the timer.

Change it out and you should be fixed.
