My washing machine was vibrating during rinse cycles so I cleaned the pump filter. I did find stuff in it but if I am reading the code correctly (F1F2) there is an internal failure. After investigation I found that the tub is not turning. What could it be?

Hello. You will need to test the motor and make sure it is good. From pin 1 and 2 on the motor, then 2 to 3, and 1 to 3, you should read around 6 ohms. If the motor is good, you will look for loose or broken wires on the motor, MCU, and the CCU. If all the wires are good, you will test for power to the motor. If no power is there, you will test for power coming to the MCU. If there is power there, but the MCU does not send power to the motor, you will need to replace the MCU. If there is no power coming to the MCU, you will replace the CCU. You can test this with a multi-meter [AP3873826]. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros...continuity-ohmmeter.htmlPart number: AP4511768
