I need the springs for the door of my dishwasher (Kitchen Aid KUDP230Y1). The part # is AP3042992. I am told that the part is discontinued. Is there a universal part that would work?

I downloaded the most recent Repair Parts List for this model from Kitchenaid.com. The spring is now listed as part # 4171237, which is available from AppliancePartsPros.com
