I'm sorry, as I know the steps to check what might be wrong with my Whirlpool are in a sticky at the top of the page, but I can't for the life of me figure out where the three parts are that I should be checking. Could someone please help me here...as soon as I nail it down, I'll be buying the malfunctioning part from Appliance Parts Pros and get 'er done! Thanks in advance!
I've got it all torn apart, so just tell me what you need to know from me!

One thing I forgot to mention is that the motor with the shaft that the fan is attached to...the one that pushes cold air down into the refrigerator, does not seem to be working. I have unattached it, but left it wired, plugged it in and nothing happens. Would this indicate that indeed that motor is bad? Thanks again!

Hey, Chuck...thanks for the reply! So, if I can hear the compressor running, and the door is shut BUT the fan doesn't run...would that sound like the 'evap motor?' As I said, the shaft/fan doesn't spin at all, ever...though I did note that when this first started to go bad, I got the fan to spin on it's own a couple short times by spinning it with a small rod stuck through the grating. I have that part on order (evap motor)...long story, but they were supposed to hold off until I got back to them after making sure what I needed! So, I hope that's the problem...as it was the cheapest of the three things it could be!
Anyone? Thanks so much for your help, everyone. Nice 'service' forum here, to be sure!
