Hello everynone,

My Kenmore side by side fridge-freezer stop making ice. My wife told me that one morning she heard sparks and sizzle comming from the fridge. Upon opening the freezer door she notice a lot water dripping and smoke comming from the the bottom tray. No water leaked was noticed from the outside bottom of the fridge just inside the freezer. She unplugged the fridge and removed all items from it, after plugging it back everything seems normal except no ice making.

The ice maker went bad within a year and the tech replaced a module where the ice ejector is.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply woodchuckie. There's no water in the mold nor ice. I haven't notice any water going into the ice maker. The temperature in the frezzer is good, no spoiled food and I can hear the motor running.

The wires at the dual inlet valve? Can you show me a diagram or sketch of what I'm looking for?

Thanks woodchuckie. I need to start a new thread, the fridge is tripping the circuit breaker at the panel.
