Yesterday, while completing cooking in my oven, a beep sounded and continued to sound. None of the cooking keys on the pad (Convection Bake/Roast, Regular Bake/Roast) will respond at this time and the beep will not shut off.

I lost use of the regular bake/roast keys a couple of months ago and am told that the key pad is no longer available for this model. How can I test to see if the problem is the clock/oven control unit instead of the key pad?

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase a used key pad?

Thanks.

Try to turn the power to the oven "off" for a few minutes and then turn it back "on". Sometimes it helps to eliminate a problem.

If it would not then open the control panel, unplug the ribbon from the control board and clean it using a pencil eraser. Plug it back and check how it works.

If the problem still exist then the key panel has to be replaced. This part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and there is very small chance to find it.

Gene.
