Hello,
Thanks in advance for your help. As of today the oven will not work as there is no gas going to the burner. The igniter appears to be working fine, but the gas valve is not opening to allow the gas to flow into the burner. Again your help would be most appreciated. Also will I be able to check for your answer, or answers later?
Thank you, Joe B

Of my post of yesterday I forgot to mention that it appears that the problem is in the oven only, as the 4 burners are getting gas OK
Thanks, Joe B

Hi Joe, Most likely the problem is a bad (weak) oven igniter. It can be bad even if does glow because it does not draw enough current to open the gas valve. - The oven igniter Part number: AP4012072

Gene, Sorry it took so long to thank you for your help. You were right on as it was the oven igniter. And thank you Appliance Parts Pros for your help in that you had the exact part that I needed, and at a very considerate price. Your help made it much easier, and less stressful, and financially able to resolve my dilemma. joebif
