I'm replacing the evaporator motor and I'm not sure if it matters which terminal the wires go on. The motor is AC, so I think it will work no matter which way I wire it. The motor I'm replacing was not an original part, and the repairman "rigged" it to work. Consequently, I can't determine which poles to hook the motor to. One wire is white, and the other one is red with a white stripe.
Thanks for any advice!

If you have a AC motor (especially if both of its leads are the same color), it shouldn't matter which wires you connect. If you hook it up and determint that the fan isn't blowing outward, just reverse the wires.
