water started leaking approx.2wks.ago at lower left corner of door. No visible sign of damage, hot water always used. Seal appears to be uniform on both sides and top. Should I replace seal? What normally causes this condition? Thanks for any help P.S. Door closing seems normal, kept clean

The door seal almost never causes dishwashers to leak unless it gets ripped or falls off. Over half of the time when I work on a dishwasher that is leaking out the door the problem is soap related. Run the dishwasher (with detergent) when it starts to leak open the door. There should not be more than ½ inch or so of soapsuds on top of the water. One drop of non-dishwasher detergent will cause this and the 3-in-1 action packs will also cause this. There are other things that cause this I just run into this a lot and it is an easy repair either stop using 3-in-1 action packs or run the dishwasher through a few cycles to remove any non-dishwasher detergent. If there are lots of soapsuds you can pour cold water or vinegar in the tub to kill the suds. Dishwasher Leaking Repair Guide
