During the spin cycle, it started spinning violently (even with me sitting on the machine) and then it stopped. When Ii took the quilt out of the machine, there was a dishwasher part in the tub. Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 12/2/2007(UTC) Posts: 769		I looks like the lid switch arm, but you mentioned washing a quilt, then finding a dishwasher part, and you gave the model number for a dryer so I am unable to point you to a specific item to replace. But if it stopped working and now no longer spins, the lid switch is the problem.
