My old Roper has a problem with the right front cook top element. It occassionally gets too hot. I have to turn it off and then back on to reset it. I need to know what part I need to replace to fix it. Any ideas?

ELEMENT STAYS ON HIGH HEAT

If the element only glows red when on any control setting, the element switch is defective and needs to be replaced to correct the condition.
