This can cause the water to spray out the wrong hole making it not spin. Also if the housing below the wash arm may be cracked or have a hole in it causing the same thing. Hope this helps!! Starving could be caused by a water inlet valve problem or dirty filters. Check the water level after a fill, it should be just under the heating element. Not sure of correct level on this unit perhaps someone else will confirm/deny this. Often caused by a partially blocked inlet filter screen in the valve. Dirty filters check and clean. Pump you will have to take it apart and check.
