I have a Fridigaire Side by Side that is dispensing water very slowly. It usually takes 2-3 min. to file a 16 oz glass of water. It used to work fine and fill the glass in 5 - 10 sec., but it has gradually gotten worse. I replaced the filter but that didn't make a difference. The ice maker still seems to work fine. I was going to try to replace the water valve, dual solenoid (part no. 218832401) but I don't want to replace parts if I don't need to. Does anybody have some troubleshooting advice? TIA

Partially remove the water line to the water solenoid, does the water tricle out or come out with pressure. If it seems fine, replace the water solenoid.Be aware, low water pressure may cause the water solenoid to leak.
