we have purchased a new icemaker for our whirlpool side by side model ED5SHAXMB10 after being told the motor went bad.
We can not seem to find anywhere that can walk us through the steps in replacing it. i did have a gentleman tell me it was just a matter of a few screws but there is obviously more since there is a water line involved and we have to take the base off the old oneto put on the new. Any suggestions on how to do the replacement to make it go easier instead guessing as we go?
thanks!

Replacement of the ice maker has nothing to do with a water lines. Can you be more specific on what exactly you are going to replace and why?

Gene.
