The door gasket needs to be replaced. But the gasket isn't magnetized. So how does replacing the gasket address the issue of the door no longer clinging with vigor to the fridge?

I read that applying a film of vaseline to the gasket would help to seal the doors. I tried it and it seemed to help a lot.

The door gasket is magnetized and must be replaced if deformed or ripped.
