The door latch will not lock the door or our 3 year old washer. We have replaced the latch with negative result. What can we check next to fix this problem?

Check the wiring to the switch,and see if you can determine if voltage is coming out of the control unit to the switch when it is supposed to engage.

Under the top should be some tech notes that will show you how to put it in test mode and generate some diagnostic codes.

The final place to look is the control unit itself.
