Synopsis: 2 year old Maytag D/W

Washes just fine- recently water is left in the tub, and "finished" light is on.

Press Cancel/Drain and it empties the water in the tub in about 45 seconds (strong flow to the drain with no garbage disposal). testing last night was one "cancel/drain" emptied the tub. Volume of water is enough to come up to the top of the main "drain vanes" (hope that makes sense)- I may disconnect the drain hose and measure the volume next.

Checked the lines, the sink, the filters (visible- no dis assembly yet), level and found no kinks or issues.

This is a recent development and was noticed by the wife due to the "smell"- so it could have been a few days or more, but not by much.

So, suggestions (outside of paying Maytag $130 to come tell me the problem)?

Thanks!

Hi,

Can you tell me what happened with your dishwasher as I have exactly the same problem and not sure how to fix it. Thanks!
