I have a GE monogram dishwasher that is approx 6 yrs old. It stopped working (you cannot use any control buttons) and there is a high pitch squeal. I took it apart, the the squeal is coming from the module control asm (part no AP3794357) There is a small alarm/speaker on this control board and that is where the sound is coming from. I disconnected all wires going to this assembly, and when I reconnect the power wires, the alarm comes on in a few seconds. My questions are...
1. Is there a way to reset this control panel and make it work again. 2. If not, will replacing this control panel fix the problem, or is the alarm telling me there is a problem on another part.
Thanks for any help you can give me

I have a GE monogram dishwasher that is approx 5-6 yrs old. It stopped working when SCE replaced a transformer in my area (you cannot use any control buttons) and there is a high pitch squeal. I have replaced the main board and I still have the above problem.
1. Is there a way to reset this control panel and make it work again? 2. If not, what seems to be my problem?
Thanks for any help you can give me
