Replaced transmission, all seals, bearings, etc. Washer did great for about six loads, then quit agitating, spinning. Fills, drains. Washer green light blinks twice, code says check belt. Belt is tight. Motor simply is not coming on. Checked all harnesses both on control panel and motor. Any guesses?? I'm not gonna buy a new motor at this point, don't believe it's bad. Will just get a new washer if can't figure it out. Thanks, anyone.

Try clearing the error code, a lot of times that is all that is needed.

This link will tell you how, and will also give you a guide for reading the error codes.

Sidfink, thanks so much for that last bit of info, clearing the code worked. Why would GE, or anyone, put a wiring diagram, code info, etc. for a repairman within the console, yet say nothing about how to clear a code? I suppose that's part of their training? Anyway, we'll see how long it holds up. It still bangs a little when going into a spin, but I can find that. Thanks again!!
