Hi all,

I have a 8 years old Whirlpool dryer model number: LGR5644JQ1

It will heating up about first 10 min and then start cooling down , every thing works, try rest the breaker, clean the filter, replace AP3132867 (3392519) Thermal fuse and AP3131939 (3387134) Dryer cycling thermostat already. any idea ?? thanks

Well, now that you have a clean the dryer, and did what everyone else thought the problem is, lets fix it. The reason you get the first 10 minutes of heat is because there are 2 coils that are mounted on the gas valve. Your secondary coil is bad. But it is always best to replasce both of the coils on the gas valve. It is as easy as the replacing the thermostats, and just as cheap. There are too many rookies giving advise on these forums.
