Several of the touch pad keys have ceased to function, specifically numbers 2, 3, and 4. All other functions work; in fact, we can still bake if temp is alternated from 511 then down to 199.

I ordered the ER3CB control thinking that the touch pad was part of that assembly. I now see that the pad is a seperate part, but want to be sure that I order the correct part this time. Is the correct item the trim control, part number AP3202230?

Thanks for your help!!

Best to call AppliancePartsPros to confirm that this is the keypad.

I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit but often keypads use a single return wire.track for a number of different keys so it is likely you have a broken ribbon cable track or a dirty keyboard connector.

RIBBON CABLE CLEANING
Unplug the unit
Open it up
Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board.
Clean the edge connector.
If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive.
Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here.
Would not hurt to clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates.
Reconnect everything and give it a try.

it is most likely going to be the touch pad, because a few of the buttons are not working. kill the power to the oven, and take the ribbon off, and slide it in and out a few times, and then reinstall it, and give it a try. if not, replace it. the part # is wb27k10146 tom

I have a GE electric range, Model No. JSP47WF1WW. F7 code beeps until I press "start." Then it just flashes the code. The stovetop works, but the touchpad and oven do not. Which part do I need to order, and are there instructions to fix it? I can't figure out if it's the control panel or the touchpad.
