On touch pad:
Heavy, Light,Rinse,Insta, Auto, Delay,ToughScrub,High Temp buttons all work fine.
Norm,Start/Cancel,HeatedDry,Sanitize will not light up
Door switches test ok. Cleaned ribbon connector.
Usually run washer on Normal then push Start.
Does the touch pad wear out? How can I test it to see if buttons are working?

[COLOR="DarkRed"]How can I test it to see if buttons are working?[/COLOR] Yes see the tech sheet for the procedure. You will need a meter. The normal way to troubleshoot is to check the control pane (keypad), if it checks out OK then replace the control board. Still a bit of a crap shoot but your odds are better. |
