Have a maytar DE313 (number direct from machine and operation manual). Drum makes rattle noise on start up and wobbles during spinging. Belt looks good upon inspection. Could the from and rear drum gaskets and/or right rear guide wheel be worn? If so what is procedure for replacement?

Replace the rear rollers, I would also replace the front glides(requires a pop-rivet gun) Not hard to do, you have to remove the front panel and then the drum.:)

Thanks. How do I remove the front panel? Does the top have to be removed first? I do not see any exterior screws, clamps, etc to help remove either panel. Thanks for you help.

There 2 screws at the lip 2" up from the bottom of the dryer in the front,Remove them, pull out on the front panel, It will come loose from the rest of the dryer,Mark and disconnect the wiring, Remove the bulkhead screws and the bulkhead. Look through the rear hole(after removing the rear panel) and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE BELT ROUTING!!! Remove the belt and remove the DRUM.:)

Thank you very much. That was just what I needed. I have ordered parts and waiting for delivery.
