I am trying to replace the dryer door switch and cant seem to get the lid off. I have gotten the front of the lid "up" from the pins but can't seem to get any farther with the lid removal...Any help please?

To answer my own question, remove the two phillips head screws securing the lid to the LINT trap holder...DUH; and the dryer lid will pivot backwards
