Three month's ago, our refrigerator stopped cooling. We contacted Sear's but they couldn't come out right away, so I called a local repair guy. BIG MISTAKE!!! He replaced the original capacitor with a RC0410($95) and also replaced the computer control box ($125) just because???? He charged us a total of $375, we were just happy to get our refrigerator back!! But in 3 months the refrigerator went out again, I called him back, now he said the compressor (2212192) is bad?? He wanted to charge us another $375, plus labor, but he said he couldn't guarantee anything!! I read the RC0410 can burn out a compressor, why would he use this part. Also he charged us $95.00 for the RC0410 online they sell for $8.60. Why would he replace the computer control box , when it worked with the old one?? $$$ Who can I report this guy to?? The better business bureau?? Need your advice:(

Since Mar. 2008, this forum and I plus other forums have warned about using a 3n 1 hard start device on a R134A compressor, the tech should have known this!
You probably now have a blown compressor. I would call the service company and as a minimum, get your money back.
