Is there a wiring diagram available for this model? I'm trying to debug the defrost system. timer is advancing. Heater has ~5Meg Ohms resistance, the thermostat was 0Ohms when frozen, now Open ckt when warm. Have not replaced any parts just yet. Is it possible to test the defrost timer to make sure it is actually switching properly?
Thanks!

Turn the timer till it clicks on. The heater should now be getting voltage. It will shut off the compressor while defrosting. In twenty minutes or so it should click again turning the voltage off to the heater and restarting the unit.

The defrost thermostat should show continuity when cold. You can bypass it to test it.

Here are your parts
Model Search
Heater is on the second page

Your defrost heater is way too high, should be around 25 ohms.
