Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/23/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		My washing machine quit the other night, smoking behind the control panel and smelling like melted plastic. I opened up the control panel and discovered a burnt circuit board. Looking up the part it appears I must order the complete control assembly ($100-150). If I replace this could there be some other problem that will fry the new board? Thanks for any help, Gopher

It'd hard to say what cause it to burn.
