I need to replace the handle on my GE microwave with the noted Model Number above. However, I can't seem to find that exact model number in your data base. All that comes up is JVM1339BW02, b ut not 002. I have checked the number on the appliance several times and I know it is correct.

It is not a countetop device it is a cabinet mounted microwave so I am not sure that the parts in your data base for the countertop would work the same.

Do you think they will be ok to use?

Here is the handle which seems to be right, but not sure

Part Details - GE Microwave door handle, black, part number: AP2021171

thank you

GE skips zeros pretty often in their break down diagrams model numbers and for some reason GE called all microwaves "countertop". If you will open the diagram then you can see that this microwave is Over The Range unit.

The part number you found is correct.

In order to replace the door handle you have to remove the inner door frame first. I hope this video clip will help you.

Gene.
