The refrigerator has an ice maker and when replacing the filter the water wasn't running into the ice maker so I moved the grommet water fill item and now the water is running in but it leaks inside the freezer, running down inside the freezer and onto the floor. The question is: It only does this at night, not during the day. We hear it making ice during the day, but the only time it leaks water on the floor is sometime during the night (we find a puddle of water on the floor when we get up in the morning). So do you know why that is and how to fix it? Thanks, Gary

Can you tell where in the freezer it's coming from.
Could it possibly be your drain tube stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.
