The other day my stove stopped working. I tried the broiler and it is not working either. I don't smell or hear gas. All four burners work fine. This happend a few months back and then the oven just started working again. I took the ignitor and safey valve off and cleaned them up but that did no good. Almost bought a safety vavle until I read several posts saying it is probably the ignitor. I am still concerned and don't want to buy wrong part because the broiler does not work either and they are seperate ignitors.

I figured I would reply to my post in case someone else has this problem. I my case, the ignitor was the problem. As soon as I installed it, plug the power back in, and turned on the oven the ignitor began to glow and the owen fired up.
