Hello all. My dryer stopped heating recently. I followed the instructions in my Readers Digest Repair Everything manual as well as tips on this forum. What I have come up with is that the thermal fuse is blown. The heating elements are fine and the thermostats check out. It is easy enough to order and replace the fuse but I am more concerned about what caused it and it happening again. Anyone have anything else I should check? Could this have been caused by a simple overload? It is in a rental so I wasn't there for it. Thanks in advance.
