Hi I have a danby portable dishwasher and was wanting to know if i can convert it into a non portable ( whatever the correct term here is) I am a single mom and dont know really anything about plumming except always use that white tape on the threads.
Let me tell you what i have. Ok so i have a Danby 18 inch portable dishwasher model DDW1899WP. In the hole were the dishwasher goes is 3 pipes that im assuming are cold, hot, and the drain. if possible I want to know is there a way that i can just get some connectors to connect my hose to the pipes so i dont have to take the dishwasher apart, the though of that is scarry for me. So me not knowing what im doing went to the local hardware store and asked the guy there. he told me " go home and cut the hoses and bring them to be so i know what size of hose u have. I walked out and on the drive home thought what if i cant fix this then im going to have a useless dishwasher with a cut hose that cant be fixed, aint no way im cutting the hoses unless i know what im going to do will work.so no thats why im here asking for help. If it cant be done thats fine but I know there has to be away. Please help.
