hi, my refrigerator frezzes great in the top, but only cools sometimes in the lower compartment. it started a couple of weeks ago I turned the thermostat to the colder position and it got cold, too cold ( it froze my tomatos ), then I turned it down a little and it stopped getting cold. I need your help, can't afford to but a new one:confused: :confused: :confused: roy

There is a fan in the freezer behind the back panel. It blows air into the bottom. The bottom temperature is adjusted by a damper which you open and close letting more air in or closing it off when you turn the fridge temp. knob. Make sure the fan works and that the damper will open and close when you adjust it. Here's a diagram which may help with it.
