There is a grinding sound and no water when it starts or after a few minutes. This happens on all selections. Turned it off so as not to burn it up. Can this be repaired or must it be replaced?? Thank you.

Assuming the water shut off valve under the sink is open, the first thing I would check if 120V is coming to the water valve under the dishwasher and the coil on the water valve for continuity. If the coil is open or there is 120V coming to the water valve, replace the water valve. If there is no 120V coming to the water valve, then check the float switch (must be closed when the float is in down position) and replace it if it's open. Check if 120V is coming to the float switch. If not, check the wires and if there is nothing wrong, replace the timer. - The part number for the water valve AP2919519 - The part number for the float switch AP2920904 The timer is no longer available. Gene.
