The clean cycle starts on the keypad, but after 1 minute it starts to beep and says "door". We have checked that nothing is blocking the door, and the oven itself cooks just fine. But we can't get it to start cleaning!

Thanks

Baltzc,

Can you hear the door latch motor run, when the oven is trying to lock ?

Part number: AP3140265
Part number: AP3140265

That latch motor is mounted to the back of the range, you'll need to slide the range out and may need to remove the back panel to access it and the switches and wiring to check them for damaged wires or switches. That latch switch circuit is a, 24 hour a day, 7 day a week circuit, I'm pretty sure you'll find your issue in that area.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)

WE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. DID YOU BUY A NEW MOTOR? DID THAT WORK? OR WAS IT ANOTHER PROBLEM?
