My over the range Frigidaire microwave display does not show the top characters. Everything else works fine. Can I just replace the display? Just the top lines are not showing, the rest of it lights up and the touchpad works too. Thanks!

Hello blazerino. To repair the microwave, you will need to order a new PC board. The manufacture does not sell just the display. Here is the part below as well as the link to the parts diagram page. Hope this helps.
Part number: AP3960821

First disconnect the power to the microwave. You will need to remove the grill from the microwave. Then remove the screw at the top of the control panel. Lift up on the control panel with the door open and slide the control panel off the unit. Unplug the wires going to the control panel. Remove the panel from the microwave.

Now you will need to pull the lever end of the plastic fastener and remove the flexible printed circuit of the membrane panel. Then remove the 3 screws securing the control circuit board. Lift up the control circuit board from the control box. When reconnecting the ribbon cable, make sure the holes on the cable are properly engaged with the hooks on the plastic fastener. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.[FONT=ALOMFG+ArialMT,ALOMFG+ArialMT]
