The oven started beeping and went into scorched earth mode. It got so hot the front panel started to warp. Turned it off over night. Turned it back on and it started heating back up without being turned on. I am not sure of the error code since my son saw it and killed power before I came into the room. He says maybe F5 or F2, but he isn't certain. I'm not ging to let it go along enough to find out.
Any ideas on where to start would be appreciated.

Could find no info using given Model Number, please check it.
Sounds like the relay that connects power to the element has it's contacts welded together.
On some units this is on the control board but Jenn-Airs often have a seperate relay board.
Also could be that the control board is activating the relay when it should not but the above is more likely. |

Model number is correct. It actualy hot links from here to appliance parts pros and the drawings match what is in my wall.
I replaced the relay board. I'm afraid it is getting more expensive and we are heading back toward the controller
