The dryer will run for a while and almost dry the clothes and then it will stop and start flashing code PF. There has not been a power failure. I read elsewhere that this problem would be the thermister so i replaced it. The problem still continues.
Any suggestions? sorry the age is incorrect. it is about 3 years old

maybe more than 1 themistor check schematics, or possible a loose connection near control panel re-solder connections with solder iron . or is the cat playing with your outlet.

I only see one thermister on the diagram and parts listing. I will try track down the other end and check the connections for something loose. Thanks for your insight. Sounds like the thermister was the right direction at least for the PF code.

What it is doing now is it will dry for a while, the burner will cycle on and off correctly then all of a sudden it will just go dead. None of the buttons will work or lights will come on. If we wait about 20 minutes it will come back to life and be flashing PF {Power Faliure}. Hit the cancel switch and it will resatart and run for a while, then we do it all over again. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Brian

The fact that it comes back on its own kinda indicating the thermistor may be tripping it off then cooling back off and resets the unit. But as i suggested try to re-solder connections on the control board where power comes in, sometimes those connection will break loose underneath and not appear loose. Carefully watch as you refloat the connections with your iron you can sometimes see its a cold solder joint. One other idea is to hook small bulb across the thermistor if it kicks out you bulb will light indicating immediately it has opened. use proper bulb voltage. hope the ideas help

Please help before my wife goes out and buys a new dryer. Originally we received an error code of PF and all the lights would blink with a beeping sound. I would unplug the machine for a while then plug back in and do a load. Again it would start beeping and lights flashing. Now when I plug it in its dead. I checked the cord and its getting power. Please help me....
