Hi ********************,

My Norge Dryer Model DEM204W making continuous grinding noise and rattling noise. I am thinking DRUM is touching with some thing because seeing the mark on the DRUM. Noise loud or low depend on the load of cloths.

I opened the top cover and front cover but not able to open the DRUM to check the pullys or any other went down and touching something.

Please help me with instruction how to remove the DRUM in the Norge Dryer, model: DEM204W and what could be the other possible problem or to check or replace. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks . Looking forward to hear from your soon.

Well if you have the top up. Look inside the front of the front panel, up top in the left hand corner, about 6 inches down, and there will be a screw there to release the front on that side. Remove it. Do the same on the other side. Pull the front toward you, and take the wires off the door switch. The get on your knees, and reach in a push the idler pully to release the tention on the belt, and then remove the belt, and pull the drum out. You will most likely have to replace the rollers. Also make sure the idler pully wheel, is spining good too. Tom
