I just recieved a replacement for my ice maker - WPL D7824706Q and the cup the water runs into, has a hole for the fill tube on the side instead of the back (like old ice maker). It has a tab to break out, but if I break out the tab an insert the fill tube want it leak through the hole on the side? What do I do? Thanks

Maybe the tab will fit in the other hole with maybe epoxy to seal it or just some tape. The water doesn't stand in the cup, it just runs through it.

Thanks, I tried just leaving the existing hole in the side and the water seems to run through it OK without running out the hole. Thanks for your reply!
