Can you help me diagnose and identify the part(s) needed to fix our ice maker? Inside the freezer box, water does not come down the tube into the ice making unit. There appears to be water inside the plastic tube at the back of the fridge sourced from the valves at the bottom of fridge up to the ice-maker. However when I looked originally there was both air and water in the tube. The drinking water dispenser on the front door works fine with plenty of water pressure. I'm wondering if there is a problem with the valve/solenoid at the bottom of fridge or whether there is a block where the water enters the tube into the icemaker/freezer box. can you help?

Make sure the water feeding tube into the ice maker is not blocked with ice. Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator (#17 on the diagram). Swap the wires between the solenoids. Depress the water dispenser release lever for a few seconds and check if there is water inside the ice maker.

If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve.

If there is water, replace the ice maker.
