the Compressor Runs For About 5 Seconds And Then The Overload Kicks It Out. The Overload Was "very Hot". Does The Relay And Overload Need To Be Replaced?

WHEN I SHOOK THE RELAY IT SOUNDED LIKE THERE WERE LOOSE PARTS IN IT. AND WHEN I TOOK THE RELAY OFF THE COMPRESSOR I MADE CONTINUITY CHECK I GOT A READING ON ALL THREE POST IS THAT NORMAL.

You can try a new start device AP3083556. Make sure you either take a picture or mark down where each start device wire went.
