Our Potscrubber 1435 dishwater is working OK, but is making a noise throughout all it's cycles. The noise sounds like gears not meshing or something loose rattling around. I think I could reproduce the noise almost exactly by taking a garden hose with a narrow power stream nozzle on it and squirting water into a metal washtub. Squirt for about 1/2 or one second, stop for about 1 or 2 seconds, then squirt again and stop again. Continue this for as long as the dishwasher is running.
Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

After it fills open it up and check the water level.
Could be it is not filling enough.
Usually dishwashers fill to just under the heating element.
If low on water pump might be cavitating.

Possible cause could be a partially clogged filter screen on the input side of the water inlet valve.
Check and clean it.
Do not remove it as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold the valve open and cause a plug.
