I have a Frigidaire side by side that is not cooling properly. Both frig and freezer are warm. The evaporator fan and Condenser fan runs nonstop but the compressor clicks in runs for 5 or 6 seconds then clicks off, this cycle happens about every 2 1/2 minutes. Not sure if it is a factor but we had a very bad thunderstorm here about 2 days ago.
Thank you in advance for your help

Frigidaire has had a period of bad compressors. It is worth time and effort to pry the start device off the side of the compressor and shake it. If it rattles, it's bad, order it here AP4367355. If it will not rattle, pry it apart and check the internal semiconductor waifer. If ok and not damaged, in all probability your compressor is toast.
To confirm, you can just try a new start device I mentioned above.
