Help,
We found a dead something ( we think bat) yuck in the back of the dryer when we pulled off the back cover. (Smells horrid!!!) BUT the problem is that we can start the dryer for about 1-2 seconds then it shuts off. The dryer tumbles but it makes noise like something is wrong like a belt. Any ideas? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sorry for the mis-information. Also, my husband has disassembled and all the belts are intact. The sound sort of sounded like a belt flapping .

EWWWWWWWWWW we took off the back vent cover and found a dead snake!!! Ya think that might be the flapping noise we heard? Yuck, going to get a new vent that has a good flapper......on the positive side we have cleaned the whole machine....no more lint/fire hazard...but peee yew. Praying it will all go together well and start. If not I would appreciate any tips. Debbie
